Sweet and Delicious Apple Beverages
The “Pear, Yellow Apple, and Pineapple” juice is a refreshing drink to brighten your day and also get your serving of dietary fiber. Dietary fiber is key to your daily diet because it helps control your cholesterol and glucose levels while keeping you regular. Better yet, this recipe will take less than 10 minutes to prepare! If you have a blender and these fruits, you’re all set!
What you’ll need:
– 1 pear
– 1 yellow apple
– 1 cup of cut pineapple
This second amazing juice is created with sweet fruits and is loaded with potassium! It is the “Apple, Pear, and Carrot” juice. Carrots contain beta-carotene which has many health benefits. It helps protect against certain cancers and cardiovascular conditions and also strengthens your bones, vision and immune system. Carrots also have a natural sweetness to its flavor when juiced or blended, so you won’t even know it’s there!

Guilt-Free and Satisfying Treats
This next recipe can be used as dessert, a quick breakfast, or a snack to carry with you regardless of your busy schedule! These mini banana-apple muffins are going to be your new favorite go-to snack. You can now say goodbye to any guilt you may feel after treating yourself to something this delicious because these muffins only have 38 calories each!
What you’ll need (for a batch of 12):
– 1 crushed banana
– ¼ cup (63 ml) of unsweetened applesauce
– 5 tablespoons (75 ml) of oatmeal
– 1 scoop of protein powder with vanilla
– ¼ cup (63 ml) of whole wheat flour
– 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of cinnamon
– 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of baking powder
– 1 packet of splenda
Mix the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients separately. Incorporate the dry ingredients to the wet and stir until well combined. Bake for 20 minutes at 400ºF and you’ll have these goodies in no time!
A great idea for dessert is this sweet and creamy dip. With four simple ingredients and just 5 minutes, you’ll be enjoying this tasty treat. Mix all the ingredients (excluding the apples) together until the right consistency and enjoy your delicious and easy dip!

– 20 ml of creamy peanut butter (or your favourite nut butter)
– 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of maple syrup

The butter makes for a fluffier brownie whereas using applesauce cuts practically all of the calories and keeps it moist!
