Dr. Oommen and Dr. Di Liello are back with another coronavirus update! With back-to-school season just around the corner, we feel it is important for parents of kids of all ages to be able to educate their family on how to continue to stay safe from COVID-19 now that life is continuing to open up as it was pre-quarantine. Measures such as wearing your mask, gloves, eye protection, and washing your hands all while avoiding hand-to-face contact and keeping socially distanced from those outside of your circle should now be well-established habits as they are still the best ways to keep you and your family safe.
To make things interesting and easier on parents and teachers alike, we’ve created a story that can be used as a tool to explain the COVID-19 Pandemic to children and students of any age. Using a beach analogy, this story covers all the bases on how the virus interacts with humans and how to avoid contamination when living our day-to-day lives.
